TIM GRIFFITH | TRAINER

I have lived in Hendricks County my entire life. I grew up on our family dairy farm in Pittsboro, IN and from a young age I was taught a tremendous work ethic. I rarely participated in sports or any extracurricular activities due to the fact our entire family had many responsibilities on the farm. I graduated from Tri-West High School in 1987. At the age of 19, I joined the local volunteer fire department and fell in love with the fire service. It was at this point I started getting in shape, working out with weights and running to be able to get on a fire department full time. In 1999 I finally fulfilled my dream of becoming a full time firefighter in Brownsburg. While on the fire department, my officers realized I had a conviction and dedication to fitness. They encouraged me to take certification classes in order that I may be able to help others on the department with their fitness journeys . I became certified in 2 different Peer fitness training programs. This enabled me to help my fellow firefighters with their fitness assessments and training programs. I later became certified in 2 additional personal training programs, ACE Personal Trainer (American Council on Exercise) and NSCA-CPT ( National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer). My Wife Lori and I have been married for 5 years. We have six children and three grandchildren. Lori started going to VFit first and then, constantly tried to get me to join her. I kept telling her I didn't want to waste my time with that "girlie" workout! Well, after a few months she purchased a Groupon for me and said, "Now you have to try it". I had just recovered from a broken leg and 2 ankle sprains and I was in the worst shape I had been in for as long as I could remember. So I tried it and WOW!!! It was right up my alley. Morris and the members were so encouraging. I knew I was hooked. The classes are always different and challenging and it has changed my body like nothing else I have ever tried. Morris has taught me how to use this approach and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be a trainer here at VFit.

3 Day Adult Pass

These muscle building/toning strength base training classes that focuses on body strength. Using body weight and bands weight training, plyometrics and traditional callisthenic exercises, VFit targets every part of the body.

2 for 1 Athlete Pass

Cardio / Core day - This day will be a mix of interval cardio and core movements. - Running should be done at around 80-90% effort. - Groups will do one exercise all the way through then move to the next.

Clean Nutrition

These muscle building/toning strength base training classes that focuses on body strength. Using body weight and bands weight training, plyometrics and traditional callisthenic exercises, VFit targets every part of the body.
